I’m Neelappagouda Hiregoudar, PhD student at Pennsylvania State University.

Greetings!

I’m currently in the first year of my PhD journey at Penn State, focusing on completing mandatory coursework. My background is in mechanical and aerospace engineering, and I’ve spent nearly three years working on projects that applied AI to fluid dynamics problems.

Having gained a solid foundation in AI and programming, I’m now eager to explore research projects that are practical and involve real-world problem-solving disciplines. I’m particularly interested in emerging areas such as Physics-based modelling (PINNs), Computational design, CFD, Manufacturing/Industry 4.0, Robotics and related fields, as they align with my future goals.
